Origins 2 Site Plan
Origins 2 is a single family community by Deco Homes, planned for Brampton, Ontario, south of Mayfield Road and east of Chinguacousy Road. The project is listed as coming soon, and the site plan has not been released.
That is normal at this stage. When a builder opens a new single family community, the site plan is usually one of the last pieces shared before sales begin. This page explains what the Origins 2 site plan will show you once it is out, and why it is worth having in hand early.
What a site plan actually shows
A site plan is the overhead map of the community. It shows how the land is divided and where each home will sit. For a single family project, it is the clearest picture you can get before homes go up.
- Lot positions: where each home sits, and which lots back onto open space or face a main street.
- Street layout: how roads run through the community and where they connect to the surrounding grid.
- Green space: parks, walkways, buffers and any land set aside for the city.
- Parking and access: driveway placement, visitor areas and where cars enter and exit.
Why buyers want it early
Two homes with the same floor plan can feel very different depending on where they sit. The site plan is how you tell them apart before you sign anything.
- Lot choice: corner, walkout and greenspace lots go fast, and knowing them early helps.
- Sun and privacy: which way the backyard faces, and who your neighbours will be.
- Traffic and noise: whether a lot sits on a quiet interior street or a busier edge.
- Release order: builders often sell in phases, so the plan hints at what opens first.

Common questions
Is the Origins 2 site plan available now?
No. The project is listed as coming soon and the builder has not released the site plan yet. You can register to receive it as soon as it is out.
How many lots are in Origins 2?
The number of homes has not been published. That detail typically comes out with the site plan.
